The T18 II tank is not producing flavor or vapor.
Check that the vaporizer has power, is powered on and that the atomizer is properly connected to the battery. Next, ensure that you are operating your coil within a wattage or temperature range that is compatible with your atomizer. Too little power can result in no flavor or vapor. If your atomizer is still not producing flavor or vapor try replacing the coil. Remember to prime the coil before use by “painting” e-liquid onto the wick, then fill the tank and wait at least 5 minutes before vaping.
When should I change the coil in my T18 II tank?
Replace your coil once you begin noticing a degradation in your flavor experience and a reduction in vapor density. If you are vaping a sweet e-liquid that contains added artificial sweeteners, you may have to change your coil or wick more often.
E-liquid is leaking from the atomizer airflow.
Check that the T18 II o-rings are undamaged and firmly in place. When refilling your atomizer, close the airflow control ports. After letting the coil sit for a few minutes, open the airflow control port back up to your desired setting. If your atomizer continues to leak, replace your coil. Remember to prime the coil before use by “painting” e-liquid onto the wick, then fill the tank and wait at least 5 minutes before vaping.
E-liquid is spitting up from the mouthpiece.
If the vaporizer has not be used for a period of time then spitback may occur due to condensation. Spitback is also not uncommon on your first few vapes on a brand new coil or a coil that has been sitting in a full tank of e-liquid for some time. To prevent spitback, lower the wattage or temperature temporarily and then increase back to your desired setting after several vapes. Prevent condensation build up by ensuring that the vapor produced in each puff is fully inhaled and that the tank is clear of vapor after every use. Inspect the drip tip and airflow control section of your tank periodically for condensation build up and wipe clean with a cloth to maintain proper function of your atomizer.
What is the best way to clean and maintain the T18 II tank?
A full disassembly of your T18 II tank is recommended when switching e-liquid flavors, or when you’d just like to clean your atomizer. Carefully unscrew all sections of the atomizer and remove the glass section. Place the parts onto a paper towel or clean rag. Then, run each part under a gentle stream of warm water, making sure to remove any old e-liquid remnants in t he tank. Be careful not to lose any o-rings or gaskets during this step!
How do I replace the o-rings on the T18 II tank?
Replacing the o-rings on your T18 II tank is actually quite a simple process. The first step is to remove all e-liquid and the coil from your atomizer. Next, you’ll want to fully disassemble your atomizer, making note of where each and every o-ring is placed. In general, most Innokin atomizers have two large o-rings place within the glass section, one upper o-ring and one lower o-ring. A smaller o-ring found near the base of the drip tip is common as well. When fitting in your new o-rings, be sure to apply a decent amount of pressure so that they are quite snug. Do not use too much force, as you can tear or deform your o-ring which can cause leakage or fitment problems. If you are having trouble finding where a specific o-ring is placed, try giving the atomizer you’re using a search on YouTube for a disassembly and reassembly guide. Please note that all Innokin atomizers come with pre-installed o-rings, and those bundled with the tank are spares.
How do I replace the atomizer glass?
Disassemble the T18 II tank by unscrewing the base and carefully separate all parts. Broken glass must be disposed of carefully and safely. Check o-rings for damage and proper placement. Attach replacement glass and reassemble the T18 II tank. Replacement glass can be ordered at www.innokinstore.com.
The drip tip doesn’t fit on my tank properly.
Check the o-rings on the drip tip and ensure that they are attached and undamaged. If they are ripped or frayed, they will need to be replaced. If the drip tips are damaged or missing they can be replaced by purchasing from an authorized Innokin vendor or at www.innokinstore.com.
What type of drip tip fits the T18 II tank?
Standard 510 sized drip tips.
What blend of VG/PG e-liquid is best for my tank?
The T18 II tank is primarily meant for MTL vaping, which works well with 50VG/50PG e-liquid as well as 70VG/30PG e-liquid.
Why are my coils tasting burnt quickly?
Ensure that you are vaping the coil within the recommended wattage range. Begin at the low end of the recommended wattage range and increase the wattage until you find your preferred temperature, flavor and vapor density. If you are chain vaping or taking quick puffs in rapid succession, ensure that there is enough airflow and do not starve your coils of e-liquid. Allow enough time for the wick to soak back up with e-liquid. If you are vaping a sweet e-liquid that has additional artificial sweeteners, you may have to change your coil more often. If a coil tastes burnt, replace it immediately.
